The first topic will be manufacturers requirements. It is always best for a new piano to be regulated to the manufacturer’s clearance requirements. Kirk Shibley will discuss this topic and discuss issues that may come up even though the piano is new.
As always, our group is about sharing information, so if anyone has experience with this, we would be happy to hear from you.
The second follow up topic will be in November and will discuss what happens to these close clearances as a piano ages and how to deal with regulation requirements on an older instrument. Ron Giesbrecht will trace what happens over time.
